Modular bumper hardware

I went to add a brush bar to the modular bumper and realized the tool that comes with the bronco doesn’t fit. It is a T30 and it is too small. I had to go out and buy a. T40 and it fit perfectly. I went and tried some other cars in the lot and it was the same on all the modular bumpers.

Good to know, Now I know how to remove my brush bar whenever my Bronco gets here.

I think those are actually TP40, AKA Torx Plus if they are factory bolts. . They are very close, but a T40 bit can strip out fairly easily in a TP40 bolt. Aftermarket bolts all bets are off.
There are some regular T40 bolts in the very top of the bumper. But those aren't removed unless you are disassembling the whole bumper.
