I will confirm. Someone shined a headlight at it and it pretty clearly had a purple/blue color. It is extremely subtle though, at night it looks completely black. IMO especially after seeing it in person not a fan, and wish that they had a different color option instead. @TaiKoi put it perfectly while we were there, based on B+P and other images we expected it to be similar to the color of his truck. But it is WAY darker.
wow, thanks a lot for confirming and saving me some buyers remorse (assuming ford never gets around to showing us detailed pics of the color on the truck at night) ...... time to nix AM Blue.

It's pretty obvious to me that folks see Cactus differently. My best gal sees flat grey. I see a very light, "minty" green. She sees no hint of green.
I see a light baby blue (when looking at photos)

The only thing that has me confused is that on a separate thread, another user who took pics of what I think is the same vehicle - during the day -- reports that it is black.

Obviously I was not there, so I'm not really in any position to second guess anyone. But I am wondering if it is possible that the black was reflecting blue in the flashlight? Maybe I am just trying to hard to hold on to AMB . . .

Well dang, we shoulda took a picture when we were shining the light at it. It was definitely blue with the headlights on it. Idk if I've ever seen Black turn blue under light.

that's the best way to describe it.... it's almost like a color shift to blue when there's light on it. When there's no light, it's black lol. thanks for the help!

Any interior pics of the OBX models? I’m dying to see a Navy Pier picture...I can’t understand why one doesn’t exist???

Broncos in Arizona (cont.)

I have 68 pictures I'm trying to upload to this thread but they're too large so here's a Google Photos link to view all the pics at higher resolution: https://photos.app.goo.gl/c18SfAptGzCUu95Y6

Shadow Black 2 Door ?
Antimatter Blue 4 Door Outer Banks
Cactus Grey 4 Door ?
Rapid Red 2 Door Wildtrak
Shadow Black Sport

The lighter tops here are not white. They're like a very light silvery grey.

The Cactus Grey has the capable front bumper

For comparison, my truck (very dusty) is a 2007 4 Door Ram 2500 shortbed with a 3" suspension lift on 35" Nitto Ridge Grapplers

My impression of the Broncos in real life:
  • They're awesome. I can't wait to get mine.
  • I finally got to see the size difference between my truck and the 4 door sasquatch. The Broncos aren't tiny. They're smaller in a good way? The Bronco sport is pretty tiny of course.
  • At night the MIC top basically looks like a charcoal color.
  • The MIC top looked great on the Cactus Grey.
  • Cactus Grey looks very nice in general. The green really comes out in person. I never considered it to be grey while I was looking at it.
  • I'm getting a Wildtrak but I'm gonna order the unpainted mirrors and door handles as parts to replace the painted ones. I just like the unpainted black look better with all the other trimming.

This is great to see ... I have a pretty early reservation but the one thing I’m hesitant about is whether the vehicle is just too small - my daily driver has been 3 different Raptors since 2010 - but this offers a great comparison. When you pulled in next to it what was your impression of the Broncos size ... it has to be bigger than the Jeep?? Thanks!!!!

When I pulled up and saw them, I never had the thought of "oh, those are small" I've been afraid of that. After being so deep in these forums and analyzing every little piece of info we get here and there, it took a minute for me to even feel like it was real that I was seeing these in real life. But yeah, I remember looking at the Cactus Grey 4 door and thinking wow it looks so freakin good, including the size. I know I kept repeating that out loud too haha. So I will say, as a full size truck driver, the Bronco will be narrower. You will definitely be sitting closer shoulder to shoulder with your passenger. It doesn't look too narrow though. Where jeeps seem to get narrower as they go up to the roof, the bronco stays boxy. Also, for me, knowing that the narrowness is on purpose for tight trails, I'm okay with it. Length wise, you can see when my truck was pulled up behind it, it's really not that small. Again, to me, it looks just right. My last concern is the windshield visibility. If it's anything like the new wranglers, it's gonna take some getting used to. I can't believe I didn't measure the windshield while I was there. As for the height, even with sasquatch and 315s, it has a compact stance. It still looks great but maybe could use an extra 2 to 3 inch lift and 35s or 37s instead of 315s.

THANK YOU! I had the misfortune of having a wrangler unlimited for a rental for a month this past spring (timing phasers replaced in the 17 Raptor) and absolutely hated nearly everything about it. No power, rode like dog crap and my wife (5’2, 110 lb) and I (5’11, 180 lb) felt awful tight in the front seats ... it’s great to hear it’s not quite that compact! I’ll still have a full size 150 crew at the end of this but will be sacrificing the Raptor and likely going to an STX with the 5.0 for boat towing and things like that BUT want this Wildtrak to be the daily driver. Thanks again.

You Phoenix peeps have gone above and beyond!! Thanks a bunch!! Got me another dose of excitement for this silly little truck!!

AMB is a very intriguing color. B&P does it no justice.
