They are smaller and attach to the ends of the rock sliders (fronts only). I'd say they are for more heavy trail driving. So you don't drop off a rock and break off your mud flaps.

For mild trail driving and roads, the regular mud flaps would be fine. I can't seem to find the post, but I believe they are going to be on the market soon.
I saw a teaser for these that attach too the front of the rail, I like. Anyone seen them available yet?

I myself have been debating about ordering the long version as well and could not find a photo on how they would actually look on the vehicle.
+1 for RokBlokz as the ultimate choice. These are the Original/Long black/black full kit on a non-sas Badlands. They would not have interfered with the rock rails had I kept them. Long offers the most protection. Removing the front crash bar bolts was a B, had to use a PVC pipe as leverage on an open ended wrench because of the tiny amount of clearance. The only thing I'd change about them is that I wish they were floppier and more of a rubber material instead of being so rigid.

I use gatorbacks, and drive several miles of gravel every day in all kinds of nasty weather.

I was more concerned about their function and preventing my doors from getting blasted than I was with wether or not one black rectangle was more aesthetically pleasing than another black rectangle.

We should be getting our 2022 Bronco Outer Banks (Sasquatch) soon. Can anyone recommend nice Mud Flaps that’ll look good on it?
I’ve seen 3-4 different ones, but nothing that good.
Thanks, Les

Mabett runs promos. I got front and back for $128 down from $199 in September. Hard to beat that price/quality combo.

As far as compatibility, the brackets for the rears have a pretty tight tolerance. Didn't really line up perfectly until I started tightening the tow hook bolt. I assumed that was universal, regardless of bumper.

Not to take away from Mabett, but I bought the same set of 4 from Stickerfab. They had a great price (take a look for current price). Their set came with the S/S hardware. Installation was a breeze, at least the fronts. (Have not had a chance to install the rears yet, but had to protect the paint from the GY SAS Rockthrowers). I think they look great, feel very sturdy, should hold up well this MN winter.

I see most of the options posted here are for Sasquatch size tires and flares. I'm looking for the best solution (door protection) for a Badlands, non squatched, with the factory rock rails.
I went with the Gatorbacks, front and rear for my non-squatch Badlands. Not cheap, and pretty heavy duty. I like that I can take off the bottom section if desired. Second side went on faster (much) than first side once we knew what we were doing. Took two of us to mount since we just did in our garage without lifting the Bronco—-one to hold in place and the other to deal with the fasteners. They make a set for rock rails with a hole cutout in them, was fine.

Although you can’t really tell from how dirty my Bronco is, the front ones really cut down on the mud spray on the front doors, and the rear ones cut down on the dirt on the rear window. Also virtually no rocks dinging the paint anymore.

How do you like the overall look? I am struggling with brands to pick up, Weathetch, RokBlokz, or RecGen. Do you have a picture of your beast from the back corner looking forward? It is really hard to find good pictures on their websites to get a good feel.
I like them. They are easy to remove when I need to. There are ZERO rock chips on my doors and the crap kicked up by the rear tires doesn't go too far.

Hopefully there pictures are what you are looking for.

Nice! I was concern about the XL long would look to long on the vehicle but judging by your pictures it’s seems just the right fit.

I like the ease of being able to remove them. The ones from Mabett, Stickerfab, IAG are too short I feel for one equipped with SAS and are all the same with different price points. Gatorbacks are just as expensive as Rokblokz but I am not a fan of the cut out for the rock rails. I plan on changing my rock rails in the future and not the flaps again.
