I have a 2-door Sasquatch and was thinking about installing mud flaps. I do like the protection they offer, but I am not crazy about how they look. What are everyone's thoughts on mud flaps? Is the juice worth the squeeze?

I got them mainly to protect the paint. Went with WeaterTech. Maybe I've just gotten used to them, but the look doesn't bother me.

As mentioned above the look is awful but the function is easily worth the cost and after a while you don't see them any longer. If you care at all about your paint and want to be able to open your door from the outside with a clean hand they are must haves. I went with the weathertechs.

Installed regular length rocblocks to protect my paint and the windshields of people behind me. I don’t even notice them and they are toolless removal for off-roading.

I think the look comes down to personal preference. The rockbloxs have really grown on me as far as looks go. They substantially cut down on the rocks getting chucked at my doors from the stock Sasquatch tires. Not to mention much friendlier to drivers behind you on the road.

I have the small AIG rockrail inserts on my BL Sas, and it works, but not enough.
The Rock blox are the best, but $$$. Check out Broflaps on their site or on Etsy.
For the $$, they are what I am doing next to keep the trail and winter spray off the sides.
I am not planning on getting rear flaps, just don't need it unless your OCD about balanced look.

Having had my WeatherTech's on for 3 years, I can attest that it is well worth the trouble to do. You may obsess over the look, but after a while you really won't notice (I believe they've updated the style since I got mine). They wedge in against the tube steps, but that ends up being a good thing.

I have the iAG mud flaps for the and rear on a 4 door Badlands. Pretty essential with wider tires . They are very nice, and well engineered. I don't care for the looks of mud flaps in general, but these are the best of the lot. They are made in the USA, and not the usual chinese junk.

I didn't like the look of mudflaps either, but the look of mud on the doorhandles and rocks regularly hitting the sides was worse. I ordered a set of WeatherTech mudflaps from my dealer at $55 per set, so a total of $110. They work great and I really don't notice them on there except when I'm cleaning mud out of the wheelwells, then that is one more place for the mud to collect. If I were to do it again, I would get the same ones.

Photos of mine after I installed them, nearly four years ago:

RokBlokz XL Long. I love the looks and functionality and they’re easily removable if needed when off-roading on rocks or ledges.

Mudflaps make a big difference. Before I got them, I went on some forest roads, mostly dry, last fall and had mud higher than the door handles back to the rear fender flares, from pretty tame driving. Driving through a snowy, salty winter illustrates the impact of mudflaps.

I wasn't crazy about the look of mudflaps, either. After looking at many, I went with Broflaps. Great product, great price, and even better service. I like that they're "just enough;" understated and get the job done.

I am still quite pleased with the RokBlokz. I like how they look and they really keep the spray down off the doors. My coverage has decreased somewhat since I lifted it, but I can still spend the whole day with the windows down and not get mud inside.
