I've been researching my perfect wheel/tire/brake setup but have a hangup on some differences (real or imagined) that maybe some members of this forum can help out with.
I am researching two/three piece wheels to get the perfect combination of color/finish for my Wildtrak (6/29-RIP). While I'm pretty comfortable troubleshooting "car" three-piece performance wheel setup. I don't see a lot of options for the off-road variety. This doesn't necessarily hurt my feelings, but I've seen a few references out there identifying "truck" versus "car" wheels and most the three-piece sets I'm looking at fall along the "car" wheel. Not to mention most the truck multi piece wheels start at 20" diameters (eh).
Does this matter for a bronco running 315/35s? I imagine a truck wheel just has a more significant load rating per wheel, but as we all know, the Bronco isnt pulling 6k of load.
Thoughts for a slightly confused car guy?
