Likewise, mine was perfect when I installed it a year and a half ago and it is still perfect.

Just chiming in again to say the top still doesn't fit after fighting it for a few more hours the last few days.

It's like JCR are playing pranks on me at this point.


*I just went out with a rubber mallet and slammed the hell out of it and now it squeezed in. I don't have time to see if it rattles but we'll see.

After driving around with this for a bit I can honestly say that I might take it off. The table doesn’t fit properly when closed. It rubs on the sides and I have to force it shut to reach the closed position.

It rattles horribly and despite my best efforts to tighten everything, it seems impossible to fix. I’m not talking about rattles from overlanding, I’m talking about just driving on the street and constant creaking and tapping.

It’s overall just not a great product. The design thought is good, but the execution and fit and finish of this product is terrible to the point that I wonder if the positive reviews are straight fake…
