Nicely done. I'm gearing up for a similar project when the weather warms up a bit.

Genuinely curious about using a coax vs only midbass in the kick panel when you already have tweets in the dash.

Mid base would most likely be fine for the kick. Maybe even better. I tuned each channel to sound the best they can by themselves before final tuning as a whole, i kept the dash on the higher range and the kick panels favor the mid and lower range. And the pods also have some high range mixed in too.
The base is insane from the sub.

Great install and upgrade. That’s a legit upgrade with the audiocontrol goods. I’m upgrading my Black Diamond 4 door. I’m doing kicker speakers along with the audiocontrol DQ-61 and 2 infinity primus amps and a hideaway10. It’s a modest upgrade but will probably be sufficient for most of my listening. If you can entertain some questions I’d appreciate that.

Can you notice a difference with the rear sound deadening? I know the backseat is significantly louder than the front seat at highway speeds, I wonder if deadening the cargo space would help with that.

Also I love your plywood amp rack. I am doing the same thing within the next week. My cargo interior is all torn out just waiting for some time to get to it. If you have any tips or things you would do differently with the plywood rack I’d love to hear it.

What size nut did you use on those factory bolts sticking up through the wheel well? Also what did you use to anchor the upper portion of the amp rack?

Keep in mind it gets tight back there quick
I think the bolts coming up from the wheel well are 6mm (10mm nuts)
I circled the spots where I anchored from the middle of the plywood

Thanks for the details. Looking forward to getting it done.

Looking good! Do you remember how long your amp power wire ended up being? Need to order wiring still.

I ran my power line from the in line fuse placed just about 8” from the battery thru the fire wall along the drivers side wire looms by the door sills over the left rear wheel well across the cargo area behind the back seat over to my distribution /fuse block by the right side wheel well =. Every bit of 20’ get 21 or 22 just in case.
