Looks great! I have yet to see anyone emulate the early stainless, chrome, or polished aluminum (whichever it is) grill. Would love to see that pulled off with chrome or polished aluminum wheels .

Yeah, with chrome wrap aplenty... I wonder why this hasn't been done?

I'm also waiting to see if the aftermarket will release an old school BILLET grill for us... Pretty curious, not gonna lie...

If this isn’t a good place to put this remove it. But they tour an astounding collection of 4wd and other vehicles with several Stroppe Broncos in the mix with some interesting history. Great video.

Not all of the attempted Retromods work. Bill Stroppe Tributes seem to be one of the exceptions. I love them.

Incredible build to be sure. Please take my observation in complimentary context: I have yet to see on any bronco site including this one, a true era-specific silver grill, just the white ones after white ones. The video on this thread really brings it home for silver grill and chrome wheels as to early bronco specificity-especially if you aspire to Strope build integrity. Either way, great job sir!

Perhaps a modern spin on the polished chrome would be to run a carbonized grey stripe down the sides to emulate the chrome trim. Use a carb grey painted grille (and possibly sights) and then run the carb grey Method/Ford Performance wheels.

I suck at photoshop but would want to mock up there first. Not sure if it will look great or like too many colors.

Not a 100% color match, but close enough for the girls I date.
Picked up an inexpensive winch mount with hoop, as a winch carrying homage to the original Stroppe Cactus Smasher.
Did a quick rattle can job, have a slight bit of touch up where the red meets the welds.
Can't really mask that properly.
