Just saw the production schedule for this week and to the right confirms the opening for MY24, 8/16!

By September! Orā¦ā¦.late October.Does that usually mean the B&P site will be updated and ready on the 16th with all the 2024 info? Or does that usually take longer to populate?
On Tim's podcast last night he said order guide should be 14th now and confirmed 16th for the order banks opening but your right, things change. The rock stars have been good about actually having the b&p's up and running lately at the switch over but I don't know if I trust Ford enough to call it a trend. We don't know.
There is an internal live stream tomorrow that dealers are invited to, hopefully they'll find out more into then. The Bronco Sport and Maverick Build & Price were updated the day the order banks opened, so if the trend continues it should be out the same day order banks open. But traditionally Build & Price gets updated months after the order banks open.
Oh... and prepare for the order bank date to move again, already has moved twice. (Last week's scheduling information had August 14th as the date.)
Any update from the live stream you're able to share? We don't know.

Would you be able to confirm if manual transmission will still be available and/or if it's available on any other trims/engines?I canāt share the rest unfortunatelyāpeopleās jobs are on the line. But there are some trim and color changesāand some changes Ford didnāt share with dealers. I will say there was only one piece of information (that I know about anyway) that I did not expect. Everything else I had already guessed based on the Ranger colors, the current ordering restrictions, and what Ford did with the Bronco Sport.
I'm hoping we won't be disappointed by color selection and it will not be limited to what we currently see in the Ranger lineup.
(Iām not ignoring you, I just have to be careful. But Iām working on it.)
You can order a Heritage. You can't order a Heritage Limited. If Iām reading this right ordering a Heritage Edition is still not in the cards. Excuse me I have a terrible summer cold and Iām not processing well.
So Any customer can have a car painted anycolor that he wants so long as it is ānotā black".Ford running out of Black Paint is both sad and hilarious at the same time.
Reservations and orders are different things to me, not sure what they mean to Ford though. Everyone should still be able to place an order, they did put out that unscheduled orders wouldn't lose their place in line when they reorder but I don't know how they plan on tracking this.I read that ford may ditch the reservation system. How would that shift the ordering process? Buy purely retail stock? First come first serve orders?
What will likely happen next week for existing unscheduled orders when banks reopen?
