What a shame Ford is offering such indecipherable colors on a vehicle many of us will order sight-unseen. Pic below is from their landing page; BOTH colors look decidedly different from other images I've seen.

I know! I like that blue. I wish I could see what these colors will actually be like, even if I have to drive to the dealer.

If the color is so much of a deal-breaker, then hold off until you can see it in person. Every color no matter how it's metallicized, pearlized, matted, glossed etc. will look different IRL than it will in renders and in photos in different lighting and atmospheric conditions. It's really not worth wracking your brain over if it's that important to you.

This is cactus grey. Look at the colors they’ve used most for 2 door and you’ll see cyber orange, look at what they’ve used the most for 4 door and it’s cactus grey. What’s making this hard is that this photo is from dusk or dawn and that gold hue is making the color appear different.(I’m talking about the photo, not this threads OP’s question)

Most online, CGI colorizers are horrible. If OP is Area 51, then what's this color (maybe carbonized grey)?

Ok, what about this color? It looks dark green to me, but is this Carbonized Gray? Will Carbonized Gray have a green tint to it?

I'm hoping C-gray looks like this, but have little faith, in the Bronco Sport colorizer it looks almost bronze

Are any of these colors offered in any other models like Mustang. Pretty sure the Orange is on the Gt350.

Anyone know what color this might be? Seems more metallic than the Area 51 that we've seen and it's not Antimatter or Velocity. If available I think this will be the frontrunner for me.

That might be the area 51. Thats the closest thing I see on the ford site. If it is that will change my mind for sure from the antimatter blue.

Cactus. Look below the grille on the side. Looks really light.

Some might find it helpful to use the four door colorizer because it uses a more neutral, white light.

This is area 51...so basically a blueish-silver with a hint of green (in the shadows).

Edit: lost the quotes lol

but lots of the posts you guys are thinking are “blue” is cactus gray at different times of the day
Yup! Pretty sure the 4 door we’ve seen in every “press release” since reveal is Cactus Grey. It’s just a VERY chameleon color. But they are all Cactus Grey.

That is carbonized grey, but no there is no green tint to it. Ford has done some weird shades with their colorizers. For this one it’s almost like they rendered it reflecting a green forest lol.

But this is carbonized grey on a Mach-e

Re-quoting my earlier response. We know what carbonized gray looks like in real life.
