I know, someone will buy it. I’m an avowed capitalist, I get supply&demand. But this type of taking advantage of a situation is even a little too greedy for me.

I'd never pay a penny over MSRP on anything, but they'll probably find someone and I don't care. Capitalism at it's finest, lots of people with more money than sense around, why not make a nice bundle helping one of them lighten their $ load :-D

I went into a dealer to look at a Ranger. It had a $4k markup. When I asked, the sales person told me that someone will buy it at that price. I'm sure he's right, but it won't be me and it rubs me enough that I won't consider giving them any business in the future.

Could be an abandoned order or an order waiting for pickup. Dealership my have stuck an ADM to keep people from calling about it while they're waiting for it to be picked up.

Would be interesting to see what the dealership says if someone calls about it.

I agree about not hating.

Something else to consider though is the more people we have willing to pay $20k over sticker it makes it that much harder for the rest of us to get a good deal
