Just watched the video.
RE: the cargo only version.
Maybe add a zipper in the middle or where ever the seat split is/are. Then you could fold one seat forward and at least the back (now bottom) would be somewhat covered still. Not a perfect solution, but a nice option to have.
That is how we roll in our 2 door, German Shepherd rides on the rear pass seat back, daughter rides next to him in the rear drivers side seat.
