Installed the American Thunder tonight on a 2.7l. It sounds lower in person than it does in any of the videos. Also, not so annoying that it would bother the neighbors. Overall, I think it sounds great.
As much as I liked it the first day, I think I’m going to sell my FX Flow axle back. Living in an apartment, it’s kinda loud. I’m in South Florida so if there are any takers, PM me. Had it installed for maybe 10 miles so basically new

No, you just have to be really careful placing the bolts in with your fingers through the larger holes in the frame. It fits VERY right against the tow package, but it does fit.

gotcha. i just took the 6 bolts off the rear bumper and removed it. it was easier for me to push in the bolts from the back

Got my 2.7, cat back, high mount (part#818124) installed. Sounds awesome. Whoever said it sounds like a Honda is SO wrong. I've never heard a Honda that sounds like this.
Only WTH is they sent too big of a washer for the driver side mount. I used two tech drivers with magnets on the end to help fish the bolts through.

I used a magnet. It was still a little tricky, but only took a few minutes not counting digging around the garage looking for the magnet. Probably could have got it with my fingers if the trailer hitch wasn’t partially blocking one of the holes.
