New Hardtop issue

Picked up my BD today very excited..was ready to drive off and noticed my hardtop did not come with Hard Top Sound Deadening Headliner...original salesman never put on order sheet and never sent me a DORA..I ordered the dual tops..I was upset but dealership said they can install it from Ford accessories...anybody have any info. for me in regards...any experience with this..similar to this but for 4 door..dealership wanted to charge me but then said they would pay for it..originally 2 hrs labor and $500..
New salesman was great ..really helped Mr
Any thoughts or advice?

I’m not sure what advice you’re looking for. If they said they’ll pay for it, then let them install it.

I had a replacement top for my 2 door installed due to cracking. The top arrived without the headliner. Dealership ordered the headliner and later installed same. No problems!

The sound deadening headliner wasn't standard on models with MGV interior, but it was a no-cost option that had to be entered on the order sheet.
Nice that the dealership will cover the costs for you.
Ideally, it should be applied with the hardtop off of the truck so the adhesive doesn't get on other interior parts.... the quality of the job will depend on the tech assigned to do it, hope you get a good one.

It just doesn't do that much, and doesn't really look that good in my opinion.

I have a 2 door that came from the factory with the noise deadening headliner. This looks exactly the same. I think once the dealership installs this it will be exactly the same as if it came how you ordered it.

I took this as a positive, installed Kilmat then Headliner for better sound deadening outcome.
