I saw in the latest news from Ford that they would be giving us some type of incentive or reward for hang on with this newest delay. What does everyone think that will be? I moved my reservation to October so I would be at the back of the line. I want mine to be a MY22 and I heard from my dealer that the Black tops will be late, maybe MY22, delivery. So, I have prepared myself for a wait., but I am curious to see what everyone thinks the incentive/reward will be.

A sticker, a paper coffee cup, and a Brochure on accessories showing how to spend more.
If they don't tell you right away, its another false flag event!

I frankly am still unclear why we can't go ahead and place an order?
You still can delay the build.
I beleave its a longer delay just spliting a 2.5 month period. 5 weeks in front of ordering and 5 week delay on the build.

This was confirmed by my chosen dealership yesterday when I called with a few questions - and confirmed the January order date. I also inquired about the black roof - ordering a Wildtrak and feel like the black would look a little better than the gray - but, alas, the more likely scenario is that nothing but gray MIC roof options until MY 22 . . . which I can live with. If the gray ends up looking like something I can not live with (also purchasing a canvas bimini which I am planning to run with most of the summer) I will bite the bullet and dive into a black top when they become available.
