Hi Everyone!
Happy to say that I picked up my "new to me" 2024 Bronco Badlands Sasquatch on Saturday. Has just over 10K miles.
I migrated from a 2013 Audi A7 with 165K miles. Different in many aspects.

There are a few things that confuse me so hoping someone can help out.
1. There is a plug on the front bumper but I am not sure what it is for.
2. There is a cable under the front driver's side threshold which appears to be unplugged and nothing there to attach it. I does come from the front of the Bronco.
3. And lastly, there are cables on each underside of the front bumper. At these for attaching to the tie downs on the front?

Thanks everyone!
Have a great day.

None of that is stock. You should inquire with the previous owner

Those hookups , Both Physical and Electrical, are for flat towing. The bronco was likely being towed behind a motorhome by the previous owner.

100% ... all after-market stuff, the cable under the driver's floor mat looks like an audio cable for something, maybe the previous owner had a speaker mounted under the seat
My guess is that cable under the floor mat is associated with the towing system, for example maybe in connected to a braking system like this one

Welcome, Rick. As mentioned by others, the items in question are related to a flat tow setup by the previous owner. Not to scare you, but the Bronco is not the most user friendly for flat towing. I presume your Bronco comes with the balance of the factory warranty. Pay attention to any transmission issues. And unless you need or intend to flat tow, then it is safe to remove those items.

If you are on Facebook, there is a 904JaxBroncos group that meets regularly. They are mostly in the Orange Park area.

All of that stuff is from the Blue Ox system for flat towing your Bronco. I have it installed on mine currently. The cables are safety cables tied to the tow inserts. The connector is for wiring for a cable from a towing vehicle that allows your rear brake lights to activate from the towing vehicle. If you don't plan on flat towing your Bronco, you can remove this stuff...

Hmmmm..... I wonder if all that is from the previous owner flat-towing behind an RV? 🤣

(I only read the original OP post, then answer it.)

Congrat's on the purchase OP! 🤠

It was flat towed behind a motorhome, the plug is for tail lights, brake lights and turn signals, the other is a brake away plug, if the hitch fails it pulls the cord out and activates the towed braking system that is placed on the floor in front of the drivers seat and attached to the brake peddle that cable plugs goes into the brake actuator.

Thanks everyone! It is the BlueOx system. Cannons of Jax, a local installer of the BlueOx verified this. Next step is to have this all removed.
