The C1 work great. No issues (unless you got an early version, then you just have to cut the 2 diodes off)

The C1R we're not 100% sure on yet. Our Bronco doesn't have a hitch so we only had the C1 in the shop when we tested it on a Bronco. Whatever C1R arrived to us, already shipped out this week, so we never saved an extra set. we have more coming in next week and we'll try them.

I DO know that on the Gen2 Raptors the C1R are generating warnings about a trailer hooked up. But that's a Raptor. I'm sure it's a BLIS thing because we've seen similar issues with Putco bars and their trailer harness. Putco had to come up with a whole new system for Ford Trucks with BLIS.

Soo our Lightning has BLIS, so we'll try the C1R next week on the lightning to see if it duplicates it. If it does, we know it's a thing with BLIS.

I'm not 100% sure on the Broncos if BLIS is built into the tail lights or not. I never actually looked. It MIGHT be a BLIS issue but I'm not 100% sure yet till next week (and I need need to borrow a local bronco for 2 minutes, which is easy to find)

Ahh yeah that could just be a Bronco thing. There's no "bumper" that the trailer connection is on. It's on it's own plate. So removing that 10mm bolt gets you access to the wire but you may need to have it sit sideways. I'd try having the harness come out towards the passenger side instead of driver to hide it a bit better behind the plate

Just opened the box to size up the job. The wire harness is too short to enter from the passenger side and this 100% does not work with the Raptor since if connected like @mcon33 the Raptor exhaust would be pointed right at it. Might be returning and going with one of the kits in the links above.

I DO want this! But I am not willing to cut / splice / tap in any other harness.
