New static-y sound on acceleration?

2021 2.7L 22k miles. I have a new sound on acceleration. Not every trip, but it's a static-y type sound on acceleration. It almost sound like some alternator whine with it too. I turned off stereo (B&O), air conditioning, and can still hear it. When a Ford tech rode in the vehicle it wasn't making the noise. It seems like it's on or off for a given trip.

No warning lights. Gauges seem reasonable. Nothing seems like it's rubbing the fan. I saw where someone lost a plug in their firewall but mine is still there. I can't get my phone to pick it up on video but it's distinct. My wife can tell from the passenger seat. Any ideas?

I notice this sometimes too. Not sure if it comes and goes or if I just tune it out sometimes, but I'm curious to see if anyone knows why it happens

This sounds like it's coming from somewhere underneath the steering wheel. Any ideas? I get some trips where it's not happening and others where it's clear as day.
