NHOU BOSS-WAX UNDERCOATING ✅

I just drove 4 hours 1 way towing my Bronco in an enclosed trailer to Chichester NH to visit the guys at NHOU (New Hampshire Oil Undercoating).

Now I feel protected!

They have a product for New Vehicles called BOSS WAX. This is a lifetime rust protection that is Dry to the touch and prevents any rust from starting unlike old-school rubberized type undercoatings that rot from the inside out.

They also sprayed another product which is their undercoating oil into all of the door cavities and drain holes throughout the vehicle. This stuff has approx 6-7 inches of travel so it gets into all the nooks and crannies.

I did a ton of research on All of the undercoating products out there. Pretty impressed with NHOU…

On a side note they filmed my Bronco for Motor Trend TV, which was pretty cool. They are frequently showcased on various shows on there.

If anyone is interested, They do have local dealers in different locations, but I couldn’t find anyone near me to do the boss wax..only the yearly oil undercoating for used vehicles.

Dealer Pricing differs from local shops that “Use” their products but the HQ pricing for these 2 services is:

BOSS WAX® & OIL LIFETIME RUST PROTECTION is about $1,000 at HQ

OIL UNDERCOATING
ANNUAL RUST PROTECTION
FOR ALL VEHICLES is about $250 at HQ

I don’t have the pricing for the mouse out, rust converter, or salt brine wash services.

That’s worth it for sure. Wonder what they charge to prep a year old vehicle? Pending MY23 announcements will be the deciding factor if I’m keeping the MY21 forever or cashing in on my reservation.

Shit I would pay 1,000 bucks for that and I’m frugal as hell. Good deal for a lifetime peace of mind. I’ve seen people pay well more than that for a ceramic coating. What good is nice paint if your frame is all rusted?

I had a 1999 clean cherokee done with the back in black a couple years ago. I am glad to see your thread.
I actually just dropped my bronco off today. Although this time around its a bit more work and of course more expensive.
I also went with the Boss wax (clear) along with the NHoil for the cavities with the mouse out.(its what they use there)

It's my first upgrade

I think i will give them a call on Monday to see if i can get before and after photos to post also.
Fromthe Metro Detroit area i found 2 places that did the work both about an hour away.

ps the shops had different pricing...

You can not get the "Boss wax" on anything but a new vehicle. You can get the "back in black" that protects and actually make the undercarraige look nice again. It is also much easier on the pocket book. it is for undercarraige,frame and body panel protection.

i realize broncos have aluminum panels but the "oil portion" also protects exterior panels from inside out. The process is not only frame protection. The whole vehicle is protected from rust or oxidation.

As i understand the "Boss wax" has the lifetime warranty. If it ever comes off they will always touch up to keep the vehicle protected. If the product is on it reduces chances for rust to develop. i dont think they claim rust can be eliminated. With that said... thevehicle will last much longer.

As far as an update... very happy with product and service. I guess time will tell on how well it works

Reviving this thread. For the folks who have had this done, how is it holding up? I have an appointment next week for the Boss Wax and Oil just in time before they start dumping piles of salt and slurry all over the roads.
