Based in Santa Fe here and made my initial reservation with Capitol Ford.

I had to chase them down and force them to pay attention and then make myself annoying, and call bullshit a couple of times....but, my damn order is finally in.

After their "Bronco specialist" treated me like crap, threatening to sell my reservation to someone else, I ran as fast I could from them. Their GM never replied to my emails about my concerns. I hope they don't hit you with ridiculous ADMs or dealer-installed junk you don't want.

I hear that. I feel like a took care of myself and got the commitment I needed, but I was about 20 minutes from switching to another dealer...something they didn't even seem to understand that I could do.

Well played. Chalmers treated me well, but was sticking with MSRP. I ended up going out of state for $1300 below invoice but will get service at Chalmers. Sales manager was very cool and seemed honest.

I spoke with Power Ford and they now want a $1000 deposit on top of the $100 for Ford. I was told they won't work on anything. I just can't justify paying $1100 for a vehicle they told me I won't see till at least April 2022. I'm going to wait to see the 22MY options. I was really hoping to get the 2.7 with manual, but so be it. I wonder if there will be another group buy for 22, with some incentives (since my X-Plan means shit). It would be cool to do a more local thing, rather than having to drive 6+h to Denver. I'm also a bit undecided on the roof options. I want something I can easily take off for the awesome spring days, but will be durable for snow. MIC vs Modular thoughts?

What date did you make your reservation? If you are not in July, you will probably have to wait for a MY22 anyway, which decides a lot for you. Nothing is for sure of course, but hopefully by then the delay items like the 2.7L and the late availability items like the modular roof won't be an issue. You can get the Mansquatch then, too. I don't think the roofs will be much different from each other in snow, and each is going to be about the same difficult to remove/replace. Granger is still offering its discounts to folks who reserved after September, but you might email them about the delivery logistics for later buyers. And they are still honoring the X-Plan discount even though it isn't offered for MY21 buyers. Ford might change that in MY22, but Granger will include it either way

I haven't made my reservation yet because I'm waiting to see the 22 options. It may be worth doing it, and just talking to someone at Granger.

I’m in ABQ, I placed my initial reservation with Chalmers Ford, but I never heard any communication from them so I changed Long McArthur in Kansas. They will ship the vehicle for free at MSRP with no markups. And they put out updates regularly so I’m happy with them. I received an email from them the following day after switching my reservation. I have a 7/29 date, not sure when I’ll get it

So I told you guys I opted to purchase a Tacoma Pro and I did. Since I wanted a 6 spd manual there were only a dozen available in the whole country so I purchased mine in Silver City, NM and they wanted to charge me $500 to deliver it to Rio Rancho and I told them they have to deliver it to my doorstep based on the fact I was already charged $1495 for "delivery charges" and I asked to speak to the GM.,, They honored it and delivered it to Rio Rancho for no additional costs.

In the end, they were probably not going to blow a good sale for a measly $500 they tried to pawn off on you. Good for you, enjoy 👍 those are great trucks

If anyone here in NM or close to NM that would be interested in trading grills when we get our Broncos, let me know. I’m getting the BB with signature headlamps. I don’t care for the base and BD grills, but any other would be fine. I like the gloss black OBX and higher trim grills slightly better than mine. Those will looks better with the carbonized grey I ordered I think

Power Ford has opened up its time slots for next month when they will have Broncos on their lot for a day.

Based on other events around the country, Ford is requiring each adult who wants to sit/grope/measure/touch the Bronco to sign up for a time slot. So if you and your SO are going together, be sure to get 2 slots at that time. Kids don't need a reservation.

I got a 6 p.m. time slot. That was the earliest I could get down there after work in Española. Will be interesting to see how much actual helpful info they can share.
