Just picked up my Black Diamond a few days ago and love it. One thing: my interior blue seat stitching is hardly noticeable-more gray than blue. Dealer says it’s a light blue. I have pics of mine vs others-noticeably different-to me.
Anyone else?

I wouldn't settle for grey if you like the blue stitching...

...especially since the 2023 Black Diamond I picked up in May, under 1500 miles, has blue stitching, Wanna trade? 😁

But seriously, embrace the grey. It might be one of a kind, looks so much better and makes way more sense (except with velocity blue). Luckily it works with your Oxford white either way. Can't go wrong here.

If you're happy with the gray then stick with it. I know back when I started this rollercoaster ride I went BD strictly for the blue stitching and blue handles to match the VB on the outside. Hopefully Missy and her team went on to design better color options.
This was also my thinking for my BD, I LOVE it with my VB exterior. Plus I have 2 door so blue on the door also

If it were me . . . I'd make a deal with the dealer to get me the Big Bend grab handles and vent chicklets. Cheaper than seat covers. The real bitch is for the poor guy whose big bend came with the blue stitching. Unless of course Blue was your desire. I never cared about blue I just wanted washout floors.
Thinking alike-that’s what I’m trying for with dealer.

Count me in. Mine is dang near black stitching. I’m okay with that, easier to change out the blue hand holds and a/c vent chicklets.

With the Big Bend getting the MGV, I surmise that the uniform gray stitching is for all BB/BD Job2 builds. Easier for the supplier and one less thing to get "mixed" up on the assembly line.

That was going to be my solution too, BUT, paid for by Ford. It’s their mistake. Your resale of your BD could be hurt because buyers expect blue stitching for a BD. Don’t let Ford off the hook.

Picked my BD up two weeks ago and was glad it didn’t have the blue stitching. Have the eruption green (man I hate that name) exterior. Never thought it matched. Love to get rid of the blue handles and vent chiclets too.

They ran out of blue thread. Instead of putting the seats on a constrained list they used gray thread. Get a blue marker, bing go bang go problem solved.

Don't believe your lying eyes, it's obviously blue, your dealer said so.

Again, All MY'21 - MY'23.5 BD Broncos should have the blue stitching as the gray MGV was unique to the Black Diamond. For Job2, the gray MGV is standard on the Big Bend and Black Diamond. It is no longer trim specific so there is no trim specific accent color. It streamlines production both at MAP and the supplier.

I picked up my Black Diamond 3 weeks ago. I have the blue stitching, which is what I wanted. If it’s not what you ordered, don’t let it go. Please keep us posted on the outcome with dealer.

Delivery wasn’t taken by the original customer on mine. Got it off the lot. Where would I find the build week?
