For those of you who ordered through Granger, do you know whether you are getting a 21 or 22 model year allocation? From what I am reading even Granger is going to be hit with this allocation issue.

I requested MY22. I chose to wait until the second year and until all the options are available. I'll fill out another build after the dust is settled and new colors, options and packages are known for MY22.

I think every dealer is going to be hit with allocation issues. Just the nature of the beast as far as I'm concerned. ?‍

Don't know yet but haven't had our phonecall. They're not getting any special treatment from Ford so I'd guess they'd be equally hit. I don't have control over that though. I'm hoping for the best with a day 1 res, but none of us will really know for sure till May.

EVERY Dealer! Will get about 1/3 of reserves. Give or take. I'm in the 2nd third....so it all depends on production....next Christmas Or the 4th of July 2022?

Joe Cotton Ford, Carol Stream just sent an email opening up order appointments tomorrow (I have one). They are not requiring an additional deposit. They want to finish all ordering by March 1st. It seems very professional and organized and my rose-colored glasses predict that things will go well (defined as no ADM or made up charges) and I'll be in the driver's seat by the end of 2021.

Did they say where they are on MSRP? and if additional deposit, how much and refundable?

I spoke with my sales guy I always use at Rod Baker and he assured me no ADM at Rod Baker. I’ve purchased many cars through him and never had any BS as he is always upfront and honest over the years. I’m keeping my reservation through them.

FYI...Spoke with Hawk Ford, St. Charles, today, and they are not set to take orders yet, but hope to be sometime this week. He could not answer what pricing they have, but said it will be over MSRP due to demand (red flag). The have 30% allocation for the reservations as of now. I will be moving my reservation. I also spoke to Packey Webb, Downers Grove, today, and they will be at MSRP, no higher, no lower. They will also be asking for a $1,000 deposit, which will likely be non-refundable, and claim that is because problems they had with reservations on the Bronco Sport. They thought my 7/14 reservation should not be a problem getting filled ,depending on any included items that are delayed.

I sure do hope this isn't their stance. I have my reservation there and will be moving it to somewhere else if they plan on adding dealer markups. I am going to give them a call tomorrow. I grew up in Carol Stream so I know exactly where Joe Cotton is, so if they are not going to charge a mark up then that is where I will be heading.

I will let you guys know once I hear from Hawk Ford.

Yes, let us know what they say! That's Kendal County, they have to have lower taxes than Kane/DuPage! Unless they offer a great deal, I'm probably heading to Granger!

I believe they do have better tax but from what I read it won’t really matter since you pay taxes in the county where the vehicle is registered/resides. I live in DuPage so I would pay the 7% freedom tax even though I think River Views tax is 6.5% in Kendall. Taxes are pretty steep on MSRP prices

I am looking to see where any Chicagoland dealers are in pricing, in writing. If you care to share what dealer would not come close to Granger, that would help eliminate one.

Wickstrom Ford/Jeep. And I have bought many Jeeps from them and have gotten good deals. They just were not ready to talk numbers a few months ago.
