Agreed. Can't get the lux package on the BD but don't need all the extra stuff on the BL...optioning out a BD with lux or an OB with washout interior are two options that would solve my problem but don't seem to be available

It has drain plugs - pull out the carpets - pull the plugs - wash it out - get rubber floormats and put them back in in place of the carpet mats

vinyl seats are the bigger piece of the puzzle for me, dog fur is the biggest concern
I am actually worried about dog nails on the vinyl. He hasn't torn my boat seats up yet, but he doesn't scramble in and out over the seats like he does in my Jeep. So I may be looking for dog covers for the rear seats anyway, and possibly the front as I think I am getting a two door.

I'm wondering if I can fold down the rears and let the dog have the whole back of the car. Flipping them back up when I have passengers should keep them hair free. Maybe I'll be going outer banks after all

Are power rear passenger windows standard?

Get you a Gunner kennel for the dog and put it in the back. Way safer for the dog anyway.

what does a washout interior mean? can you leave it in the rain with an open top? or does it just apply to seats and flooring?

Great idea. Why not just tell them to leave the carpet out/off the build sheet in the first place. Wonder how ripping carpet out of my new vehicle will look when it was built with carpet .... Guess we'll see what can be done once orders open.

I'd think the carpet is easily removable like a Jeep

I would still much rather have the option available on all models. Under the Jeep carpet is metal and wiring, not something you want to be sticking your feet on or have to clean. I know people go through and Rhino line the interior, which I did in my YJ, but it wasn't near as good as the rubber flooring on my current car.

That's why I'm not a fan of ripping carpet out. It was put in for a reason like a washout floor is put in for a reason.
