The OEM wipers on my '22 OBX have been working fine. The Bronco windshield seems to be a whole lot easier on wiper blades than my 2001 F150. That windshield was much bigger, and leaned back more. The OEM wipers on my F150 only wiped one way, and chattered on the way back. Replaced 'em with Bosch and never had a problem after that. I'll put Bosch on my Bronco soon as the OEM wiper blades start to give problems.

I used to treat our windshields with Aquapel and could even get them off Amazon. Not sure what happened, but everything I see on Amazon now are fake.

Aquapel was tricky to apply correctly, but it worked and lasted for over 6 months even through a hot Summer.

I know there are may other ceramics now, so I may just need to go that route. Bugs in particular came off easy with Aquapel.

Going to check on the cost of the Bosch Icons and may give them a try as suggested earlier.

Just switched today. Went Bosch Icon 17OE. If anyone does the same, Bosch adapter #2 came on the blade and took maybe 30 seconds to change- once I figured it out.

My OEM wipers still work great after four years. They work as well as any other wiper I've had, and replacement wipers don't last as long in my experience. Bugs? Man you must be using razor blades for wipers if you found something that will take off bugs.

Replaced the original oem with Scrubblade Black Editions about 4 months ago, they’ve been great so far and a notable difference from stock…time will tell if they pass the longevity test.

Never had a problem with OEM on either the Bronco or the F-150, even if I am not a fan of the beam style.

Given the price of Motorcraft, will probably do Trico Gold next time.

If you want a cleaner windshield, you have to do it manually, not with wiper blades:

The younger folks may not get the humor in this photo.
It is a 46 year old movie.
It makes me feel old since I was in High School when this movie came out.

I think I'm still on the factory ones lol, and they do great for some reason.

Project Farm is always a good place to check reviews, but it's a few years old now and probably doesn't hold up -

I need a company that will change out my windshield free with every purchase of a pair of wipers.

Anyone else not impressed with the OEM Bronco wipers?

Mine are already streaking and just don’t seem to make great contact with the windshield covered with bird poop and bug splatter.

I searched the forum but didn’t see a clear go-to upgrade. Are people running Bosch, Rain-X, or anything better?

Would love to hear what’s actually working long-term and able to clean the splatter.
The blades on my 2024s and 2025 have never streaked. They perform fine.
There's nothing at Wal-Mart or auto parts stores that surpasses the factory blades. In fact, they are generally worse.
That said, the Japanese vehicles have the best wipe and the rubber refills are attractively priced. I wish Ford would call Honda and Toyota's wiper suppliers.

PIIA wipers for sure, easy to install and come with a Rain-X type product to put on the windshield. By far the best wipers I’ve used, I’ve changed all my cars to them.

I decided it was time to replace mine since they were three years old. No issues really. Just felt like it was time. I ordered a 3 piece set from Amazon. Not expensive. Made to fit the Bronco. They were easy to install and work well.

So I bought and installed these today. $25 incl. shipping. The fronts installed easy-peasy. The rear was a pain, but I found a thread on this site that explained it.

The blades work REALLY good, but the question is how long will they last. Out of the box, no squeaks and no chatter. If they make it 2 years, I will be thrilled. Mine were the original wipers and after 4 years the fronts weren't doing a good job anymore but not so bad that it was unsafe. The rear blade was totally shot.

I hate sending my $$$ directly to China, but at 1/3rd the cost of OE parts (which probably still come from China), I am not gonna give $75 to Ford for friggin' wiper blades.

My original OEM's lasted about 8 months before starting to disintegrate and streak. Replaced them with Scrubblades about 6 months ago and still working good as new at the moment...but time will tell.
