Any thoughts on the Ford Off-Roadeo - is it worth attending...?

I live in Telluride, CO and was considering signing up for the one in Moab - it's only 2 hours away... but don't want to waste my time... FYI - I'm not a big 4-wheeler guy... I just like the Bronco where I live (roof and doors off in summer) and like the off-load capabilities to get me where I need to go for backcountry skiing, climbing, etc.

Thoughts...?

Lots of posts on this on the forum. Just search off roadeo. Everyone seems to love it. I can't recall seeing one negative thing about it.

Definitely worth it - my son and I attended the one in NH and enjoyed it and learned what all the Bronco can do. An excellent hands on learning experience.

I went to Moab in March and it was a lot of fun. Well worth it, and in a beautiful place.

Loved it. Went with my son to the Las Vegas venue, had a great time. The set up was chill and the staff made sure it was all about us, I highly recommend attending one if you can get the time to do so, you won't be dissapointed. Like said above, do a search for the Off-Roadeo section, lots of great stories. 🍻

If your going alone it costs very little I think $35 reservation fee. And if you opt for the $75 insurance coverage. You get a refund for the rest of the cost. It definitely builds your confidence in what the Bronco can do. Gets you used to the Goat modes and what to use them for. It a cool experience.

Worth it just to experience some of what the Bronco can do Offroad (and in someone else's truck). Nice lunch/dinner and an overall great day with awesome trail guides.

Everyone says it’s cool - but when I saw the add on charge for the wife to tag along I passed on it.

I could understand if she was going to be a “student”, then sure…pay full fare. But she’d just be a passenger. Even a small token fee for a passenger I could stomach. Maybe….$50 or $100.

I don’t even recall now the amount. Just that at the time I went through the reservation process I thought it was too high and closed the window and moved on to other things.

My logic was: I’ve done Moab 5 or 6 times in Jeeps. As for the training, reckon I can figure out all the doo-dads on a Bronco on my own. How hard can it be?

my wife/passenger did more driving than myself at off-roadeo.

(i've got way more off-road experience than her, so the off-roadeo
was a chance for her to expand her understanding of what the limits
of the bronco are in off-road situations.)

Highly recommend. A mans got to know his limitations, this includes the limits of your vehicle. More importantly, it's a hell of a good time!!!
