Flying solo tonight so a lil 12oz fillet it is. Low and slow on the pellet grill and then reverse sear on the cast iron plate to a perfect medium.

I feel like I'm opening myself up to a barrage of Hank Hill looking aghast memes with this thought, but has anyone else started looking at options for small grills you could set up on that drop down tailgate table from the 2 door trail rig accessories concept? Seems like you could go electric (cue the Hank memes) since there's an outlet back there. There are also plenty of gas powered compact camp grills that would likely fit. Ok hit me with your George Foreman gifs but also if anyone uses something like this for camping I'd be interested in hearing if there's one you'd recommend! (Bonus points to anyone who renders a charcoal set up that turns the table itself into a grill).

Didn't grill anything this weekend. Did Sous vide some salmon though. But I am a pretty active grilled/bbqer. Picture of one of my last briskets at the wrap.

I had that exact Traeger. When it worked, it was awesome, buuuut it didnt work well at all. It was very inconsistent and annoying. Also a PAIN to transport. Big, heavy, bulky, and dirty. A great idea in theory, but in practice it wasnt so great.

Unlike last nights' ribs, which were fantastic!

Nothing wrong with keeping it simple during the week. I like the ammo can speaker box (home made?) and especially that Pit Boss too. I wish I would have bought mine years ago.
