there is a pretty long plastic drip tray built under the oil filter that is designed to move the residual oil about a foot or so to where it clears the suspension parts. They don't clean it off very well. Expeditions have them also. Pain in the butt after driving in rain as well with residual on the garage floor.

Ahhh, yes! The little oil catch pan on the Expedition, with razor sharp edges. What a pain that was….

The 2.7 has the filter on top, easy to get to, and if you open it slowly, you don’t get oil everywhere. Obviously a design error!

Perhaps at the dealer where you purchased your Bronco. Perhaps at mine as well but they are hundreds of miles away so I went to the closest Ford dealer and that policy was not available to me (nor did I expect it to be).
