So we came down to Homer for my birthday weekend (the big 34) and I purposely drove the Bronco 1 for adaptive cruise and 2 I really wanted to take it out on the beach. The drive down was about 230 miles from home. My 2.7 SAS managed 19.8 MPG the highest I've ever seen and that was with multiple high speed passes.
Anyhow, wake up to the most beautiful, warm days of the year mid 50s and sunshine, we got sun burnt haha decided to hit the beach, I started out in 4A but it soon was evident 4L with the rear locker would make things easy as pie which it did. This is the most "off roading" my Bronco has ever done. Absolutely loved the cameras, trail control set to 4 mph was absolutely perfect for cruising over the rocks. Very impressed with how easy it handled the very loose shale.
