Nice to see you caught at least an hour of sunshine, because it's been raining here for what feels like a year.

Man I'm so over the endless rain this year. I got pretty lucky with the weather both times. Glenallen was 72 and sunny while south central was blanketed in rain. It was great to have a break from the wet weather

Wondering if all the rain means we'll have no snow, or all the snow.

Your trip is just another reminder why I ordered a Bronco. Thanks for sharing the gorgeous and amazing photos! Denali Hwy is now added to the bucket list.

Looks awesome, I would love to have my Bronco up there! I grew up in Anchorage. I was up there in February for a week visiting friends/family and did Fur Rondy with my family, weather was really warm for Feb. Crazy you have the rain, Seattle has been crazy hot this summer.

A few weeks ago I decided to head up to the Denali Highway. The drive up is just gorgeous, and I actually went back again the following week. +2000 miles on the Bronco, some wheeling and some seriously rough dirt roads and it never missed a beat.

I'm not gonna bother captioning the individual photos, but they're from the drive up along the stunningly beautiful Glenn Highway, Eureka, Glennallen and of course the Denali Hwy.

Nice pics. Reminds me of when I was stationed in Alaska in the mid 70's. Drove up and back on the Alaska Hwy when it was 1100 miles of gravel. It's all paved now, much less of an adventure. Also drove what was called the Steese Hwy, the narrow gravel road that led from Fairbanks to 'Circle City' , a small village then on the south bank of the Yukon river. At the time, the pipeline access road all the way to Barrow was closed to all but pipeline construction traffic.

Gorgeous pics.
I got to visit AK with my cousin about 10 years ago.
Hosted and guided by a buddy out of North Pole. Six hour drive in his truck, then we rode 4 wheelers for another few hours to our camp spot. We all got our "bous" though, and memories for a lifetime.
I'd love to do a Bronco road trip there!!

I've got a stock FSB (I'm the red EB with signal mirrors) on 31s that i'd like to learn to 4x4 with on some easy trails if you'd ever be down for such a ride. Found a cool trail in Wasilla once but was stopped after about 15 minutes when my bumper hit this massive hill. Haven't been out again since.

Been wanting to explore the state and get into off-roading for years but my broncos have always been too broken and generally unreliable. Currently waiting on a new PCM to fix some drivability issues, then at some point I would love to get a small lift and some aggressive 33s..

Alaska is my absolute favorite place in the US, and I've been through a lot of it.
The experience would be so much better with my Bronco, but that's a bit of a trek for me, as I live in Cali.
Your pictures are beautiful, but as always, do not do justice (that's for every image coming from the final frontier). I am in total envy right now, 100% green.

I grew up in Anchorage, too! Went to Dimond High School! Seattle summer has been wonderful this year.
