Oh, it gets better, if you modified your order before Jan 18th, they may not give you the offer. I was asked to modify my order on the 16th (along with another reservation holder, who was told he didn't qualify since he modified his order prior to the 18th). Seems like Ford is playing games again. #Stay Inflated... or Pumped... or whatever.
Is it before 18 JAN or after that the $2500 is supposed to apply? I switched from Lux to High on the 21st, and I'm seeing (unsurprisingly, from the shittiest communicating major manufacturer) conflicting info on date.

After a 40 year career working for a Fortune 500 company I have 2 questions whenever I ve seen these kind of Merry Go Rounds…. ( and I ve seen too many over that period of time)

1) Incompetence? Or,
2) purposeful deceit?

Ford Corp and Ford Dealers should all be better than this. A few oops early on in a rollout is understandable but multiple years ….. hard to keep making and expecting people to accept such tactics.

After hearing the news and getting my "FU" letter, I cancelled my WT order in AZ and found an on-stock WT in MI, and of course the timing was all out of whack, as it took forever for my "ordered dealer" to cancel, and of course I had to finalize the contract for my in-stock WT. I tried calling Ford customer service and they told me to contact both dealers, ugh. It's so stupid, Ford "Corp" comes out with these incentives/plans to cover their own asses, but has no balls to make sure they actually come through and just push it back to the dealers. So I am without my $2,500, but I have my WT - I was really hoping for a 23 so that I could have the upgraded Hoss. I'm sure it would have been a 24+ given Ford's track record. I'll keep trying, but I am doubtful they will actually live up to their end of the bargain. Now that I have already purchased my WT, I am probably SOL. What a joke. I'll keep you all updated as I progress.

Does anyone have the original FAQs, instructions, etc? I guess I can use the way-back-machine thingy to find it, but would be good to see the history of how they kept changing the incentive.

**UPDATE - I GOT IT!**

After 2 months I got my check from Ford for the $2500 offer of cancelling my Bronco order and buying a stock unit off the lot. I would like to publicly thank Sheehy Ford of Richmond for working so hard to get me the offer rebate. They worked on it diligently and finally got Ford to approve the deal, had me sign the rebate form to get the funds sent to me directly and 3 weeks later I got my check!

Oh good grief, just read this thread. I was contacted by my dealer on 14 Jan with below e-mail.

Lots of scary stuff since I’m a 2/21 reservation holder.

Had a few questions since I had a 2dr on order, but finally approved a new DORA on 18 Jan around 6 PM. Received a new Ford email noting change a few minutes later.

On 20 Jan I received the “official” Order Modification E-mail.

I see on the FAQ page that if I had those constraints on 18 Jan and subsequently remove them I’m ok.

Did I screw myself by flexing early based on dealer prompting?

How can I find out if I have the Order Modification Certificate?

“Hope all is well! Unfortunately, Ford has made us aware that customers with orders that have hardtops/LUX pkg/Sasquatch pkg will need to modify their order to drop these items for scheduling consideration.

If these changes are made by January 21st, Ford claims they will be issuing a certificate/private offer to the customer.

According to the information we received, if the changes are not made and the order flips to the new model year, Ford’s price protection program will expire.

At this time, we do not have definitive information on the certificate amount or how it will affect Ford’s price protection certificates…

We appreciate your patience and understanding…please let us know how you would like to proceed”

I’m happy to report that I was able to reach Corri at Ford (her info was posted in here somewhere) and she was able to get me a $2,500 check cut! I had my doubts, but it finally came through.

Not sure I'm following what your situation is but you can find if you qualify by calling Ford. If you are it's up to the dealer to handle.

My dealer got advance notice of the program and was proactive. Based on my dealer’s advice I made the changes effective 18 Jan.

I received the official Ford Modification offer on 20 Jan…FAQ say your eligible if you had the sins on 18 Jan and deleted by 7 Mar.

Yes, I’ll call on Monday.

Also it does seem to be based on how hard your dealer works for you to get the rebate. But, I think you will be fine because it sounds like you have an order in so you should receive it when you take delivery.
