I think you might be able to order the 35" tires with black 17' beaded wheels without sasquatch. Gives you the look without the lift and extra money for suspension. Use the extra money for the 2.7 or lux?
Good idea, can’t wait for the builder to launch so we can compare! Thanks for the input bud.

Same here... i like the black accents and don't want everything the same color.

But sounds like Sas switches those back to black but my door handles would still be covered.

I would also like to know how bad Sas messes with the already hurting MPG.

Pretty sure Sas is a must... 4 door is a must, and really really want the 2.7...so my MPG is probably shot already..

I started out looking at Outer Banks, and then wound up reserving a Wildtrak. But may end up in an Outer Banks after all depending on option prices and whatnot.
I'm thinking the same way. I think if you option Outer Banks with - V6, sasquatch, and hardtop - you get the same thing as the Wildtrak minus 1 GOAT mode and hood graphics for maybe just under $50k.

I was thinking the same. Although that’s probably before leather, high and lux packages. And don’t forget 1.5k destination.

Based on what most people are saying they want on the OBX, I have a feeling those builds, after destination, but before taxes, will be between 50-57k. High package, lux package, hardtop, V6, leather, Sasquatch. Those are 6 options varying between 1-3.5k each. I assume most will pick at least 3 of those options (or else why bother with the OBX since it unlock high package, etc). Maybe most builds around 50k after destination ...and others being unpleasantly surprised that a fully loaded model with all those things will get into the mid/high 50s and break 60k OTD with taxes.

that’s not to say that by the time the build config is released people may scale down their want list.

That's why I never made a reservation (yes I know it's refundable). I have to know for sure what the costs of my desired build will be. I really wish Ford would've had all the pricing for the available options ready at reservation time.

Reserved a 4Dr Outer Banks. Cactus gray, V6, leather, Hi Pkg, and hopefully a white hard top.
After looking at the pics of the Cactus Gray with White hard top I think that’s I’m going to go with as well for the wife. Looks awesome. I think I’ve settled (for now) on 4dr, Outer Banks, V6, Lux, Squatch, White hard top. Only thing right now is fenders. Not sure how I feel about the fender the Squatch comes with. Almost want to see if it would be possible to have the color matched OB fenders stay on. Guess we will see what our options are.

Who else is on the list for an outer banks?

The wife and I put in for an oxford white 4 door. We plan on getting the 2.7 and the high package. Im a sucker for that huge 12 inch screen.

Oh and of course the modular black hard top roof.
Can you get a white top with the white body color spec?

I read there are 3 top colors: Black, Grey, and Carbonate.
Outer Banks can have a body colored hard top.
But I dont think a white top will be an option.
I want the same spec as you - But I dont think its possible unfortunately.
I was planning on resorting to wrapping the top with white vinyl.
Really bad, since if you ordered a white Bronco, you could get a white top.

Also, if you get the Sasquach Pkg. your body colored fenders go to black!

As a last resort with Squatch, I wonder if it will be possible to order "Outer Banks Fenders" with the body color - from the parts department. Usually parts departments sell these as blanks, and you need to get them painted. Expensive.
AND WHITE STEELIES!

If all options available at initial spec that would save a lot of $ and truly be great. I have upgraded my Jeep way too much and it would have been cheaper, way cheaper, to just spend the $ upfront (if all combinations available). Besides, I've run out of room for all the OEM take offs I've replaced (The soft-top stored somewhere lol as well as the OEM wheels and tires +++).

PS: I put leather in my Jeep with a set of Katzskins and paid a local upholsterer to install. Saved about $1000 over factory and looks as good or better plus you can customize. I recommend this Company.

A couple months ago when i was interested in a wrangler, there was a model in the showroom that Katzkinz did, looked really good. Felt good too. Katzkinz makes a quality product, the trick is to find a good installer. Otherwise you'll get an end product with wrinkles and creases.

If i'm not mistaken Katzkins offers a water resistant material for wrangler. I'm hoping they do the same for the Bronco.
Every Jeep dealer I have been to that installed after-market leather used Katzskins. My installer charged me $350 for install. They look great. Price of Katzskins dependent upon how you spec and who you order from. Figure about $900-1400.

or like others have said, a Defender 110
I recently went to Land Rover dealer looking at a 110S with 6 cyl. You can spec them cheaper on-line than access at dealership. Only way is to order but will the dealer let you order from his maybe 2-5 per month allocation? It's tough as when you compare Bronco vs Defender specs it appears that FoMoCo benchmarked against the 110.

Ok, so I’m wondering how the body color mirror caps will look with cactus grey or any other color but black, because the arms that attach to the bronco will still be black. Anyone else concerned about this?

There is a TON of trim that will remain black even on the Outter Banks. Should all work together. That said it could be quite easy to get the Bronco looking "choppy" with up to 3+ colors on the body alone. Body, Door Handles, Roll-bar, Top, Fender Flares.... There is potential to make all these things different colors!
