Overlanding community in VA?

Hey guys, we bought this vehicle to travel. We’re trying to get into overlanding anybody have any info on communities into that in Virginia or the surrounding area?

I know there was a NoVa Bronco group on Facebook. Pretty gate keeper-y if you can get in.

Both the NoVa Broncos and Bronco Army DMV are good places to find other Bronco owners, but seem more Wheeling centric than Overlanding. I don't think you'll find much in the way of a bronco specific group focused on it.

I'd look more to an Overlanding group that isn't model specific, Like the Mid Atlantic Overlanding Society.

I think he's actually referring to Bronco Army DMV.... It's a private group, and you have to request access, then they ask questions before letting you in, and as stated before, it's a Wheeling focused group, so the main question is "Do you plan on wheeling with us?".

I don't have a problem with a group controlling access like that when they have a focus as they do.

They don't let people in and it isn't just "will you wheel with us" They also don't respond to DMs. Think less welcoming Bronco group and more Mean Girls.

Really? I don't know anyone in that group, requested to Join / answered questions and the next day was approved.

Man, if you got the time is the big problem. Between work, kids, and everything else. I just don't have time (or the desire) to run a group.
