Paint Chipping Easily

I have a 2021 Antimatter Bronco and I feel like the paint has not held up well. I feel like my paint has gotten very chipped from normal travel and rocks being thrown. I have driven other vehicles under the same conditions for years without this issue. Anyone else notice weak paint?

i haven't yet, but that said if u have a sas I have noticed those tires throw rocks alot more than any tires I have ever had before. I have been looking in to adding mud flaps even tho I hate the look

I noticed the front of my hood is getting chipped a lot more than my previous vehicles, and I'm only at 4500 miles. And I'm talking you can see right down to the bare metal.

I'm EXACTLY the same, about 4,700 miles and chips down to the metal

I have AMB also and found a chip the other day! Not happy about since I have not even been off pavement yet. I have stock rims and 33s KO2 and OBX fenders and step rail. Design has a flaw if need mud flaps. Look at the Raptor, it doesn't have a solid fender it comes with flaps.

I have not done PPF yet as I read the PPF was getting chipped so I am just waiting for that solution to arrive soon before going on gravel or rocky roads. I am planning on beach runs next month?

I hand washed mine yesterday and found 2 chips on the bottoms of each door. I’ll fill them and most likely PPF them

Welcome to Ford paint. It has been trash since at least 2015. The front edge of my 2015 Mustang hood bubbled and peeled and my 2016 Focus ST had chips all over the front and a big scratch where the water hose barely touched it.

I had gatorback mud flaps installed day 1 and have no rock chips yet knock on wood they been great

Fords paint is s%&t these days. I swear I hit a bug, and it chipped the paint on my Ranger. (Well, it wasn't a bug, but you get my drift).

Yeah my Mustang and my parents Explorer both have trouble with the hood lip. Ford just can't seem to figure out how to get paint to stick to the aluminum body panels.

I remember Ford having paint problems going back to the 80's, my brother had a blue F150 where all the paint peeled from the hood

every Ford I have owned has had bad paint had a 2002 that the paint fell off.

I have an Area 51. Lots of chips on the bottom of the doors, and I also have not been off road. I added the mud flaps too, even though I don't like them either.

Ford's factory paint job is absolutely garbage I have the same problem with my Mustang I stopped counting the chips at 2000 miles and it looks like the surface of the moon with craters right now at 22000 miles
