Why did they give the name cactus gray to the bronco and fighter jet gray to the mustang? Same paint code... Fighter jet gray sounds better IMO.
Probably marketing idea.......different names fit each vehicle personality better........cactus for the off-road outdoors and fighter jet for the speed and sleek body associated with mustang

I really like the CG better on the prototype with the white top

For what it's worth, drives me nuts when people use "Base" for "Bass"

I hate it when off road newbs call it a car. It’s NOT A CAR, call it a truck or a rig. ?

There is no more pressing sign that Ford needs to release the B&P tool than a 9 page thread where off road junkies discuss the interchangeable versions of spelling the word grey.

regarding my view of cactus gray...

1. The photos that look put grey are nice, but not quite enough to pass A51.
2. The photos that look more green, especially the mint ones of the Sport, make me want to run away from the color entirely.
3. The photos that have a hint of blue or even blue-green are so dreamy its hard to imagine choosing a different color.

why doesn't the roof rack go as far back as possible?
I was wondering the same thing. It looks like there is a port further back to connect a rack. Could it be due to the length between the front and rear would be too long for the support beams?

If you are in America, it's "gray". I still don't understand why folks insist on mispelling the trademarked name of Ford's color (not colour), Cactus Gray.
In America we don’t really care how you spell Grey or gray...
I believe there are more pressing issues...
Chill..

Baby tires. Those can't be 35s. This truck is in need of a lift and 37 or 38s.

Thanks for the pics... Their photographers seem to pick the worst lighting. Looks like 2 different colors.

Edit: damn that squatch package looks good though. Even the top color looks pretty reasonable on there.
To see the true/best realistic color you need to see it in all types of lighting but of course seeing live is out of the question.
I think those are 33" Sasquatch is raised and 37". I'm comparing it to other pictures i've seen.

Hoping to see the Carbonized Grey that the Bronco Sport also offers.........hope my dealer gets one of those for me to see.

Regardless of size, those dusty tires complement the dingy gray top almost perfectly. I guess tire shine will be out of the question..... ;)

This was the exact thought that I had last night. Maybe that's their rationale, since this thing is supposed to be beat up on the trail and tires get all grayed out anyways, now the roof and tires will match in the real world.

One last detailing supply to buy going forward. ?
