Hello I have a two door first edition two door bronco.

I been trying to search all over for before/after photos of anyone with a two door has installed the Bajakits king +3 suspension kit on their own right??

And if possible if they have any before/after photos of the lift gain change and how the stance looks on the two door if anyone has tried this would you be so kind to show off your progress photos and reviews?

Mine isn’t Baja kits….but it is apgs +3.5” with kings but should give you a general idea. This is with +35mm methods that bring the tires back in quite a bit compared to 0 offset wheels. Tires are 37” km3s

Do you know how much more of a lift you got compared to the Sasquatch?

I have the stock bronco rims with 35s

I upped the spring rate on the front springs from the 550lbs that come on kings to 650lbs because of all the extra leverage on the springs from the long arms per APGs recommendation….it probably has settled to 1.5”-2” over Sasquatch. I’ve considered going down to 600lbs to get it a tad lower….but not sure yet.

The stock Sasquatch rims are +30 so pretty similar to mine.

Curious - how long are the springs when unloaded and how much preload are you running?

On road it drives fantastic….offroad the extra travel is great. It is nice to not lift a tire over every lil obstacle like before…i would definitely never consider going to stock length arms.

If you are in Phoenix why wouldnt you use Foutz Long travel kit ? They are right in Mesa, and the guy won the Baja multiple times. I used their kit for my 4 door, same width as Baja. Stance and all is killer but the coil springs and shocks have allot to do with final stance. It was helpful to be able to stop back into Foutz and ask questions and have them review the install work. I had direct access to the engineer (Greg Foutz) and the right hand guy (Jake) running things, and you would to.

To be fair I never considered stance and look, this was strictly for performance, but I like that the FMI setup is ready for bypass shocks or bump stops, or both right out of the gate.

General Notes: Long travel is not plug and play the way most aftermarket parts are. I had issues in Flagstaff finding someone to align it. Fiberglass is allot allot of fitting work. I also needed to fabricate the inner fender liner. Local lift installer guy to me was in over his head. ( I had installed the previous King Coil springs largely myself)

I did have to install a heavier front spring. Ride Shocks wants to revalve the front shocks as the motion of the long travel is different then a standard arm is. That being said it can do moderate whoops at 65mph now.

Rear has a 1.4" Borne wheel spacer ( I have a spare pair if you want them) - rear isn't long travel but it does now has a bump stop, and Ride Shocks. Wheels are 0 offset. Tires are 37's.

Lift, I could raise this significantly higher then it is. Rear is on almost the lowest setting, front has some pre load, but not allot. Springs have allot to do with it.

The Ride Shocks allow for 37's and are setup so they help you not destroy your fenders when sending it. I did not know that and went with fiberglass. I am not 100% sure if I needed to since I had the Ride Shocks. The upward facing DV8 fender flares may have been enough clearance. Hard to say since the long travel does allow 15-20% more articulation. I would imagine 35's would for sure not need fiberglass as long as you had your pre load dialed in.

The truck does sit level I just didn't photograph it that way and my driveway is pitched.

Hope that was helpful.

For now id be fine with the stock fenders and the 35s less weight and wear and tear and most kits are perfectly fine with 35s and no worry about them hitting fenders or hitting the resivours it seems like

Oh, I did add a lower control arm lockout on the front end so they can only do the alignment at the upper control arm. Thats isnt an option you have to add, but it does limit the alignment to someone skilled enough to understand long travel. (It was beyond the dealership skillset).

My understanding of the lower control arm lockout is it reinforces the pivot point on the frame, and helps hold alignment if you have a little to much speed when hitting those g-outs.

35's should perform better then 37's. Foutz Motorsports (FMI) is in Mesa, near the airpark, and just up the street from Nacho Offroad lights. He also does design work for Addictive Desert Designs, and they make a ton of Raptor parts

Foutz makes excellent parts. I run their control arms on my F150 Raptor and use their front bump stops on my Bronco. I purchased them through San Tan Customs, and they were installed and aligned. I'm unsure about an alignment for a Bronco Baja kit, but I would call them.

Baja looks like a bolt in, the Foutz has a weld in shock tower, but that includes another mount for a second shock, smoothie or bypass, if you want to add one later..
