Planning on leaving the MIC top off?

So does anyone know what happened to the real bikini top ? not the mesh one -

So do you think with rain - it will be dry to drive around the summers with just a bikini top and tonneau cover - it does look like it will prevent water from coming in. If someone could make a back for it to attach to the tonneau cover - that would be awesome.

I had my dealer look into it with no real answer why it's no longer available. I suppose I will wait and see what the aftermarket world comes up with.
