Love my Diode Dynamics from @4x4TruckLEDs.com

Ditch lights, pockets and bull bar lights all from them. Easy instructions and great customer service.

Backlight option is great for DRL's. Even run them at night many times

Nice. I like your set up. I see you put two “quads” and one “double” vs the normal one quad and two doubles.
Yeah, I liked the ability to mix and match the bigger 4x4 LEDs rather than just two 2x2s, or any combo I want. So far the two fog light combo (white & amber) works great, with the S2 Pro being setup for that extra bit. Night driving is much nicer now with the extra side throw!

I bought the Baja Designs pods. One is amber; two are white - hooked up to two different AUX switches. I actually use the amber far more than I expected to - great for fog, smoke, rain, and snow.

This is the same setup I have and love it! I think the BD bracket looks the best and allows the lights to mounted top up, so there is no need to flip the bezels. I purchased through @4x4TruckLEDs.com during the last Black Friday sale and received a good deal.

A lot of people like Diode Dynamics, but from what I have read, the lenses are not designed to be inverted and require modification to allow the SAE cutoff work as expected. There may be brackets that allow them to be mounted top up, but I am not familiar with any. Hopefully my info is outdated and no longer of any concern.

Ours have more adjustability so you can move the lights up/down. Ours also sit more flush in the bracket when installed (the Baja are angled so they don't sit quite flush).

Diode SS3 can be mounted in any manor since the bracket is bolted on the center.

SSC2, when mounted upside down, require the Driving and Fog ones to be flipped (easy enough you just take a blade and cut off one tiny index tab, very very simple to do).

Any issues with this setup? I’m planning the same. What switches did you wire to? Amber to one and white to another?

Thanks

No issues; I love it! I have my two white lights wired to the 2nd AUX switch, and the ambers to the third switch.

Are all of them road legal or just the amber lights?

I think just the amber ones. I don't use the white ones on-road anyways.

For folks who may not be as familiar with amber lights vs. white lights, I just came across this video which might be helpful. There's a part in here which shows the amber vs. white in dusty/foggy conditions, and it's quite apparently which one "out shines" in those situations.

Very informative, thank you. Here is a screen capture that sums up the video.
