The 2.7 sounds great, and the giddyap in a 2dr is REAL

Had to go for the 2.3L to get the manual trans. If I were going auto I would certainly buy the 2.7L. The 2.7L 10 speed truck I drove at off rodeo was significantly faster than my 2.3L.

I ordered my 4door badlands with the 2.7 and it was pretty sweet. I got a 2.7 in my 2 door and it is fast. Put it in sport mode and it's really fast! The 2.3 is not bad at all. We have one in my wife's 4door black diamond with 35s and it has plenty of power. Doesn't have the wow factor of the 2.7 but gets the job done. Dont think you can go wrong with either.

same i had to get the 2.3 for the manual, but im ok with that

2.3 with 4.27 diff . very good response and MPG
don't ever plan on towing or rock crawling
it does what I need it to do & its a 2D the original build

there was no choice for me--Everglades only comes with the 2.3 but I did get the 4.7 gears
