I'll start....I just filled up my Bronco for the first time at Costco gas. A dude in a stock Rubicon Wrangler pulled in front of me. Here's our conversation:

Him - How do you like your Bronco?

Me - I like it, but I've only had it a week.

Him - Is that the regular Bronco or Sport? (side note - he was behind me in line so could see the 35" spare tire, now he's in front of me and can see the First Edition grill and Bull bar)

Me - thinking to myself...you asshole...I see what you did there

Me - It's the full size Bronco. How do you like your Wrangler?

Him - I like it so much I even gave it a name.

Me - I'm not going to ask this dude the name of his Wrangler. Blank stare.

Him - I was thinking about trading in my Wrangler for a Bronco.

Me - They are hard to buy right now. If you didn't have a reservation within the first week, then you will need to wait awhile or pay a big mark-up.

I just found the Bronco Sport question odd from a dude with a Rubicon and then telling me he was thinking of trading it in

I told my kids the story as well and they said he was just trolling me and I should have just gone with the Sport thing. I'll do that if it happens again, but I would be surprised to get this comment twice...haha.

What's funny is imagining that guy, sitting there driving his Rubicon laughing to himself after he "cleverly" thought up the joke. Just means Bronco owners are living in his head, rent free.

My brother bought a 2020 F150 about a year ago. Did a lift, wheels, tires, a few other things. He flew home a couple weeks ago, a week after I got my Bronco. He says " Ehh, yeah it's pretty cool I guess, but my F150...." Just a little sibling rivalry for sure, but made me laugh

I pulled up to a gas station and ask the man at the pump next to me how he liked my new Bronco.
He looked puzzled and said what Bronco.

1. My Bronco is Antimatter Blue and everyone tells me it is a nice black truck until they get within 2 to 3 feet and then they say, 'Oh, it's blue'. Gets most every time. Love this color and the reactions. 2. That looks so much bigger than the Sport.

True Dat! I got labeled black at drive through of Chick FIL A. My LR3 in similar shade of blue was registered as black at one point.

But to me funniest so far was when we picked it up and wife said, "That's so cool you had dealer put on the OBX stickers"
