I deal with Ford fleet vehicles before they go into PDI at the dealer. Removing transport mode on f150, 250-550 and transits is a very quick and easy procedure that takes maybe 30 seconds. Simple ignition on/off, press the brake a few times and turn the flashers on/off.

Transport mode and factory mode are different.

Also, I'm pretty sure FDRS can disable both without pressing any buttons if I remember correctly.

They could definitely do a better job with this "feature". When you get to 120 and Factory mode is blown away, they could turn on the headlights, have the horn sound, jiggle the steering wheel and maybe even squirt the windshield washer a bit if you do it really well. You know, to let you know that it's done and make it so that you don't have to count.

I'm with you on this one. I've never seen anything like it.

Leave my Bronco in the driveway for a week and the remote features are disabled to conserve battery. Another few days and it's dead. Who the hell makes a vehicle that has to be driven every 4 days to maintain a brand new battery?
