My custom tune for my diesel truck has a selector switch. I can run it bone stock no tune or activate several different tunes loaded into it for optimal performance. Towing, economy, and different power gains. It is tuned to work with my transmission and engine mods. With this in mind I have a few questions on the Procal. It appears to be one tune and not several as my truck has.
Does Procal tune impact normal or sport mode?
Does it affect eco or any of the other off-road modes? It seems no is the answer but Iām not sure.
If it does not change eco mode can you run 87 gas in eco or the off-road modes and only run 93+ when in the mode that Procal changed or do you have to run 93+ always because Procal impacts timing advancements for all modes?
If you want you can assume I had 2 gas tanks one with 93 and one with 87 that I could swap with a transfer switch whenever I wanted depending on the mode I was in.
