Left my doors off overnight here in Atlanta and had a dozen moths flying out of dashboard next day. I've since put the doors back on, but there are still some adult moths flying around. My fear is that their eggs are going to hatch any day now and wreak havoc on my seats or inner dashboard.

Anyone have a solution to get rid of any eggs those moths might've laid?

That's horrifying. I've never had to deal with anything like that. Worst I've had is pantry moths that I've used pheromone glue traps to eliminate. Moth balls would make the inside reek too.

Maybe blast the AC super cold. Works with other kinds of flying things.

UPDATE: I purchased three bags of Enoz mothballs (75 cu. ft. coverage) and placed one on the dash and two under the front seats. I'm going to leave them in there for a week and hopefully it totally eradicates the moths and eggs.

Don’t think there is any wool in your truck, so you should be good.
Apparently they're attached to animal fur, which my dog has already left behind. Moth balls have been in there less than 3 hours and the adults are already freaking out. Roughly a dozen circling in there now when before they were hidden. Hopefully the eggs die too and I'll be back to normal.

Get some birds… once they are the ones infesting go to cats… I think this would lead you all the way to putting horses in it, but I don’t know why…

See if dry heat (like 90+) will dry them out and kill them. Got to get the humidity out when you do it.
