Coming from a Jeep Grand Cherokee that had 4A. That is the feature I miss the most in my Big Bend.

Differential allow left right brake modulation, just not front to rear in a locked T-case situation, but you do you.

I nearly missed out on my black diamond. I didn't realise it was an option until literally an hour before heading to rhe dealer. Thought bit was only for sasquatch and badlands.

AS others have said, basically an AWD system, so in addition to 2H, 4H, 4L you also have 4-Auto.

Unless someone lives where there is a lot of wet snow, I don't see the point, and frankly would never use 4A myself.

Loved it in my Grand Cherokee. Wish I had Selec-trac in my Gladiator. My Black Diamond has 4A. Pretty much the only reason I didn't get a Big Bend.

Works great in the rain too. Especially when turning at intersections that might have a light glaze of oil or diesel. I was crossing over an intersection at slow speed turning left after just a very light rain and hit a patch of something slick and the rear started to break traction. 4a would have caught that.
