Raise rear bumper

New Bronco Heritage. Noticed the rear bumper is a bit lower on one side below the taillight and fender flares. A little under 1/2 inch. I watched removal videos and it seems it’s held in place by 6 bolts. Can I simply loosen them slowly and move the lower side up to match the other side.

that can work. you are dealing with "over sized" holes that collectively might allow that amount play. They are not slotted holes.

I would get a 3ft level and set your vehicle level with the help of a jack on one side. Then loosen the bolts, each a few turns, until all are loose enough to get the bumper to move with some resistance. Set it level, then tighten slightly, check level, repeat, then torque it down. The bumper bolts are torqued to 59 ft-lbs/80Nm. Use a torque wrench!
