This has happened to me as well since I took delivery back in April... "Random" clicks and knocks while car is off. Thought it was "normal".

Yes I also have this, seems to happen 30 to 60 min after being shut off, I assumed it was the bronco engaging power to the modem to communicate with Ford. Another Strange thing is, say I go to Tacobell at lunch and I leave my phone on my desk at work, when I get back all of a sudden my phone will pop up how was tacobell.. As I am not one of these people who's phone is a "Attached limb" this has happened a lot, seems a little "Orwellian" to me
I know what you mean.I don’t eat much fast food but the other day I drive through McDonalds for my bi monthly Big Mac. After I ordered at the drive through my Broncos screen said ā€œ Really Paul? You really going to eat that? Go ahead fatass, good thing my suspension can handle whatever you throw at itā€. I felt this was a little judgmental and uncalled for. Do
better Ford.

Just picked up my Wildtrack Hoss 3.0. Here's my question. So i'm installing my rear door fold down table and I'm hearing random clicking sounds from the front of the vehicle. I assume these are relays of some sort, (perhaps light timers?) but does anyone know exactly what they are and what my Bronco is doing. Mind you, I don't have the key in it or even in the proximity. I'm sure what ever it's doing it's supposed to be, but would just like to know exactly what this is. Thanks.
Still waiting on my Bronco, but my Explorer that I just got 3 weeks ago does the same thing. Every time I open the doors it makes that weird clicking noise. Never had a vehicle do it before. It will also do it about 15 min after being shut off. No idea why and I am calling to have it looked at. At least now I don't think I am going crazy lol!

My random clicking is definitely coming from under the front dash or somewhere near by. It is not from the rear of the vehicle. It will make the clicking sounds- maybe twice after I first get in it and don't start it up. (At my lunch break break I go in it to get away form work and relax or read).

Yup be sitting outside and just hear it start doing whateveršŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
@flip it doesn’t even have to be warm water and water that touches the handle area seems to make things click.

The sounds I'm hearing appear to be coming from under the hood. It's in the front of the vehicle...Man, now I'm worried.

I think it has something to do with the evap/emissions and Fuel pressure. It’s normal from what I’ve researched on other newer model fords mine also does it all the time.

The clicking is completely normal. There are several "timeout" and "battery saver" features, and your just hearing those relays/modules. It is not random, sit next to it for an hour and mark the time you hear each click, will be the same next time. And yes the last battery saver circuit cuts out at 60 mins.

So I am 2 weeks or so in on having this in my garage and It very often will click and clunk like the keyfob is recognized when I am near the vehicle or something. I have the lux package so the door handles have the tech to unlock when I grab them but this seems to be something different. The lights don't blink like a lock/unlock would. I have had the occasional lock/unlock which I am pretty sure is an accidental pocket button push. However, I have been in my garage with no key and it sounds like relays or something else engaging at random. I have the top off so the sound seems to be even louder when it happens.

Hello! Send us a private message with your VIN and the name and location of your local Ford dealer. I’d be happy to see what I can do to assist with this noise concern. Thanks!

Has been happening to mine since taking ownership last week. Random noises as if it is busy working on something all by itself.

I have the same issue of clicking- like it’s looking for the fob constantly! The super annoying thing is that I car camp a lot and sleep in the back but the clicking wakes me up throughout the night. I’m actually mad at myself for selling my Subaru and getting the Bronco Sport 3 months ago. ☹ I tried turning off all of the key features under settings but it didn’t help.
