Raptor or Filson?

I have no dog in this fight…I have no interest in either…they both have 4 doors…and yes I am a 2 door snob…but for the trails I go on the regular Bronco (filson) is marginally too wide and the Raptor is a complete no go…but of course anyone looking at a filson isn’t going off roading at all, but then few Raptor owners are going 80mph across the desert either…party on!

OP, you live in vegas, premium offroad terrain exists all around you in all flavors. there is no better place to own a raptor for offroading than where you are at. it was built for out here, you dont have narrow bushy trails to worry about. if the baja like desert of california or the rock crawling of moab doesnt excite you, then a bronco raptor is not the one for you. it is a purpose built machine, the best of the best and thats the objective angle you need to be looking at. if you are shoehorning this truck to fit an aesthetic aspect, then only you can answer that, because thats subjective.

Spot on sir! To not do the locales that you mentioned or not go rip-roaring through vast areas this country has to offer (or perhaps jump this monster vehicle at least once) is to waste the very best of what Detroit has to offer. It will be a long time before we see a show room ready vehicle like this again. Is this a great country or what? Thank you Ford Motor Company for gifting us this gem!!!

The sands of West sound great... videos look like a blast.
I'm midwest Iowa... but the fun of BRaptor and long reach of terrain... taking it across rolling pastures, water ways, muddy hills and bluffs provides its own joy! Taking it over various pastures or crop ground at speed.. getting air and landing smoothly is an absolute thrill to feel... then pull out on a highway and cruise smooth and stable at 80mph. Beautiful Rig... Looks and behavior.

We do plan to get to some dunes in future... those look so fun!

It's called Bronco Raptor Off-Roadeo at Mt. Potosi, NV and it was a blast! Hell, I'd buy another Bronc Rap just to do the course again. Very informative day of off-road shenanigans....

Getting defensive about the fenders is just admitting you know they're ugly too.

They're both nice vehicle offerings, but it's like finding the best houses in the best location only come in a duplex and one has aluminum awnings.

Get the Filson so you can act like you're above the Braptor hoi polloi yet more down-to-earth.

Get the Braptor if you're always talking about your no date Submariner and your college fraternity.

No BRaptor Owner is defensive on the BRaptor, we’re expressing our opinion and our admiration of the BRaptor… including the fenders. It’s full package is superior in our Opinion.

Oddly you interpret the BRaptor owners as squawking irrationally? Really, you’re not comprehending correctly. Go back up into “any” thread that asks an opinion of the BRaptor… you’ll find multiple entries from Non-BRaptor Owners immediately squawking their dislike that spans out to mutilple tangents on comparison to negative objects and disgust.

When a BRaptor Owner expresses a positive… you label it defensive. You haven’t a clue… Your delusional opinion is everyone should be a BRaptor Fender hater like You? Well, not accurate… far from it!

Enjoy your Bronco… and enjoy what fits your needs, budget, requirements, driving, and modifications. Projecting your dislike doesn’t work! BRaptor Owners are probably some of the most enthusiastic Owners over their Vehicles, and they buy what they like.

We won’t pick on the Bronco’s JC Witney catalog flat fenders… we’ll enjoy our Curvy Beauties on the BRaptor!
