So, why can’t you just reuse the two stock bolts? Are they not long enough?
@16:55 of my install video you see where you need those two bolts. And as you will see, there was none there. I think with the regular bumper, it uses those holes with some hardware. I think they just missed the fact that the modular bumper doesn't use that hardware for the bash plate.

You could try and order the Ford Part number for the bolts.... but it's much cheaper to go to an auto parts store and get two M10 bolts in 30mm. I think I actually used M10 by 25mm... if they don't have that.

I did message my contact at Rough Country about it.

Ok, rewatching your video - I remember you mentioning that - but, that’s reiterating the fact that RC updated the kit, instructions etc and wasn’t aware until after you mentioned it. So, several kits are incomplete and their instructions are misleading.

Secondly, what do those bolts screw into? Or are those holes threaded in the video that you point out? @NorthShoreBronco

Has Rough Country given any indication if they are working on a capable bumper option?
They are waiting to get a bronco with a capable bumper to test it.

But...... I checked the part numbers of the Bashplate on my Badlands and On a black diamond VIN that has the capable bumper.

Holes are threaded. And I let them know about the missing bolts.

I’ve got a badlands capable bumper if they are looking for a trail user. I’m in north Texas

@NorthShoreBronco - I called Rough Country and the guy was kind of a d*ck. In other words he asked if I knew how to read and that the instructions clearly say you reuse skid mount bolts and everything else is included. Kinda peeved at that company honestly. Glad I’m just using some of their nicely shaped sheet metal and that’s it.

I’ve got everything ready for paint. Likely will move forward with install later tonight or tomorrow after work.

AH, that sucks you got someone like that. They sell a lot of different products, he may not have been familiar with the install of that one and just read the instructions.

Let me know how the rest goes! Yea, some of their stuff needs some work, but you got to admit there's some good value for the price point.

I followed up with an email. This is getting me nowhere. Are the two bolts from the original factory skid plate unusable? Because that’s what they’re claiming to use.

No no, you use them, but you need two more. Did you try yet?

Not yet, I was planning on Sunday/Monday. I am all painted and ready to go.
Maybe you have everything you need. but just to be safe, I would go to an Auto Parts store and get two 10mm bolts. 25 to 30mm in length should do.

Then let me know if you needed them.

We have the same setup. Black Diamond and Badlands should be identical.
