Mine broke recently and got replacement and it's not right but can't remember how the original fit. The replacement has gaps in both corners you can see through into the inside or from inside out. Obviously more noise coming in from those spots as well. Seems they missed some weatherstripping or something. Also did the original lock? Can't remember even checking that with the new factory rear window. This replacement you can open even with everything locked up. If it does lock, how does the lock operate? TIA

sounds like they didn't put the lower gasket on the new glass.

Pics?

Yeah they just called and said that is the problem. Funny how on a glass breakage all the parts attached to the glass are considered a non glass claim. Replacement of the glass doesn't include any of those parts. The glass holds all that stuff together. What happens in an environment equal to 1g? All that stuff falls to the ground or the interior of the truck. Pretty good chance some of it can then be broken as a condition of glass breakage. The cover of the wiper broke as well and isn't covered by glass claim. The bottom plastic piece and gasket aren't covered by glass claim. To get those pieces covered another damage claim needs to be filed. All that is a product of the glass breaking. BS but I'll have my lawyer look it over if they even think of raising my rates.
