Recently replaced SAS Bilstein stock shocks with Bilstein 6100. Set the adjustable lift clips at 6 front, 4 rear. I have noticed some bump steer and rear end jump over bumps since the change in shocks. Relocation bracket sounds like it might correct this. The lift in the front over SAS is 1.6", rear lift is only about 0.7" above SAS. My trackbar now sits 1 5/8" lower on the passenger side than driver side. The 6100 have a compressed length of 16.6" which is below the recommended 18" for hitting the frame. Based on what I have read though, the Eibach appear to have similar measurements and lots of people running relocation brackets with no issues hitting the frame. I have tried to research and find the exact measurements of the actual bolt center to center measurement for all the different relocation brackets. Here is what I found (please correct measurements if known to be different):
RockJock: 2.5"
ARB: 2 3/8"
Boss: 2 3/8"
Fabtech: 3"

The Boss and the ARB appear to be the least height gain of the 4. With my current 1 5/8"
difference, gaining 2 3/8" would end up with the passenger side 3/4" higher than driver side after install. I guess that 3/4" high is better than 1 5/8" low??

Any recommendations on ARB vs Boss? ARB comes with brake line relocate brackets vs none with the Boss. They also mount a little differently

I went with the RockJock and that fixed everything.

Lifted my badlands SAS 6 months ago. Finally installed the bracket today. It fixed everything. Left it on the ground and it was easy. 1 hour install m. Corrected the bucking. Eibachs took me up 2.5” over Sasquatch and it was off centered greater than 3/8”. Now I’m within 1/8” and will get an alignment Friday

Hi guys, I’ve had a RockJock rear trac bar bracket on my workbench all summer. Was planning on installing it before a recent 4x4 but life had other plans. During that trip I blew up a fox coil over, so on Friday my buddy and I installed a set of Eibach Pro Truck 2.0 HD coils on my 2Door. Long story, I could not just replace the one damaged Fox coil.

I’m traveling this week so the truck can sit and maybe settle a bit while I’m gone. I installed the Eibach kit at factory settings, out of the box the front coils were almost at the max thread suggestion (within 4mm) shown in the instructions, but the rear has plenty of room to adjust up. That said I may actually crank these down a bit, TBD as I need to drive it more and load the back with camping gear to see how it behaves.

Questions please:

- I’ve read that with the Eibach’s RJ bracket may contact the frame depending on ride height adjustment due to the shock stroke. Any thoughts on that?

- I’d wager it would be better to wait until after I adjust the suspension before I install the trac bar bracket. If I crank them down it won’t be much. I’ll keep some rake in the back as that’s my preference / weight etc. Any comments?

- This is a pic of the rear as it sits now so clearly the bracket would be needed. Any thoughts on not using the RJ trac bar kit with these shocks?

Note: yes the lower rear main shock bolts are stupid long, they are from a JKS lower shock skid armor kit I had on with the Fox coils. We learned the hard way those skids don’t fit with these shocks. Eventually I’ll find some different lower rear shock skid armor that fits and hopefully find a different main bolt that isn’t so dang long. But that’s another story.
cheers,
Lars

I have the exact same set up. I believe it's true they can contact....but I also heard it has to be one heck of a hit to make that contact happen. Myself...not worried about it :)

I’d wager the same would be true of any other trac bar relocation brackets. Meaning the Pro Truck 2.0 rear shock’s stroke may cause contact under full stuff.

If so, what are my other options to improve roll center and rear bump steer? Would an adjustable rear trac bar be the next option that would not cause a potential contact / conflict?

I ran an adjustable track bar prior to installing the relocation bracket...I was able to get the axle perfectly centered but still had noticeable rear bump steer. I'm running the Eibachs and had the same concerns possibly contacting the frame but haven't had any issue although I don't do any high speed stuff or jumps/whoops.

This is correct. An adjustable Trac bar is the next best thing. It is actually what most people do at first, myself included. And for what it's worth - I drive very fast in the desert and do compress my suspension quite a bit and have also bottomed our the suspension a couple of times. But I've had no "contact issues" thus far. So unless you are really driving your Bronco aggressively, i wouldn't worry about any issues..

Thanks for the feedback. I’m not a high speed desert guy, but those whoops / wash outs in Moab do tend to sneak up on ya. Plus Colorado trails tend to get fairly twisty from time to time.

My 2Door is fairly heavy, lots of armor, camping gear etc, but I have no idea how the Eibach’s will behave yet.

I already own the RJ trac bar relocation bracket so I’ll install it and see how it goes.

cheers,
Lars

question, so i have a raptor model, 1" lift in the rear, i know rockjock says sasquatch package is +1in lift is ok.
I believe if i install this, my passenger side will be slightly higher than the drivers side. Will that be ok. It will be more level than it is now though.

Yes. The whole point of the relocation bracket is to correct the geometry and allow for better handling characteristics. See this previous post I wrote that explains it :) - https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/rear-tracbar-relocation-bracket-get-one.104993/post-2398111

I ordered the RJ relocation bracket when I ordered the Eibach kit and installed at the same time. It drives fantastic. Thank you for the recommendation.
