So I got 12 of them to put on a 2 door. Where would you place them?

I'm kinda thinking 10 and 2 in each wheel well and then fill out the middle with the other 4 on magnet mounts

They do not do anything in the wheel well in my opinion.

Usually 6 do the job. Two in front of the front tires. Two in the middle, or four. Two behind the rear tires. You could use one for an under hood light or a cargo light. Basically you want to see where your tires are going. Put the extras wherever you like.
